Paperwork for Next Year

2016-2017 LHS Band Parents:

In the next couple of days, your son/daughter will receive a packet of paperwork regarding next year’s band. Please be sure this envelope comes home as it contains important forms and information.

In the packet you will find the following:

  1. Student Information Card
  2. Emergency Medical Authorization Form
  3. Field Trip Form
  4. 2016-2017 Calendar of Events

Hopefully, all of you have received a paper regarding band camp. If you did not receive this, please visit the resources section of the band web site or pick up a copy in the high school band room.

If your son/daughter is planning on being a member of the band program next year, but will not be participating in marching band, please have him/her see a director for an exemption form or download a copy from the band web site.

Lastly, there will be an important informational meeting on Monday, May 2nd for all band parents. This brief meeting will begin at 7:00pm in the LHS auditorium. Your prompt attention to these forms will assist the directors greatly in planning for next year. We ask that the first three forms listed above are turned in at the parent meeting.

    1. The meeting is the easiest time to get everything turned in and organized. If you can’t make it, just make sure everything is completed by then. Thanks!

      1. I will be there. I just don’t want to hear about the invitational and other events for a solid hour. i know all about it. Just testing this site, and I like it. I never get your reply emails because I get so much email. I type better with the larger font. Topics easy to find, read, respond, receive, and reply. Scrolling is a mess, but way to go, I like this site.

  2. Hello, my daughter wants to tryout for color guard for the 2016-2017 school year. She is currently in 8th grade. Is it too late for her to join the color guard team, since it is May 10th. Hope she can still join.

    1. Thanks for the message. We already had tryouts for this year, but please get in contact with Mrs. Voight, our Guard instructor, so that she has your daughter’s contact information. We look forward to having her in our program in the future!
