Marching Band Families:
Beginning June 1, students will be permitted to use Lancaster High School band facilities for individual and small group practicing. I am extremely grateful to the Lancaster City Schools administration and the Fairfield County Department of Health for working with me to begin a safe reopening of our band rehearsals.
This process will be very gradual, first beginning with individual practicing. This first phase will be especially important for our percussionists preparing for marching band auditions.
We hope to make marching band registration an easy process for everyone! It won’t take too long, but there are several things we need from you. To make it easy, we’ve broken it down into shorter steps.
All marching band families will need to review the Band Safety Protocols. Parents and student must then sign and return the student waiver. Email the completed waiver to email@example.com. Please do this right away, regardless of when you think you might be in the band room next.
Here are the two documents you will need:
We need an emergency medical form for your child.
Here are your options:
- Print, fill out, and turn it in the next time you are in the band room.
- Print, fill out, and email it to Mr. Factor.
- Pick up a hard copy the next time you are in the band room.
Next we will need the following forms filled out digitally:
Adult Volunteer Form (multiple forms may be filled out for each parent/adult volunteer)
Review the Marching Band Fees and submit your first payment sometime in June.
Take a look at our band calendar and put our rehearsals and performances on your calendar. If there are any scheduling conflicts with performances, email Mr. Factor right away.
