Saturday, October 21, 2023 – Band of Gold Invitational
9:00 AM – Band Room opens. All equipment will still be on the truck/trailer from Friday night and will be at Fulton Field.
9:30 AM – Rehearsal at Fulton Field
12 Noon – Rehearsal concludes. Lunch on your own. Band members may leave at this time or stay at Fulton Field to help. The band room and auditorium will be locked until 7:15 PM.
Between 4:00-6:00 PM, all band members may visit the concession stand to receive a complimentary sandwich and drink. The competition begins at 5:00 PM.
7:30 PM – Band members meet in LHS auditorium to get on uniforms
8:20 PM – Meet in Maintenance parking lot for Warm Up
9:30 PM – BAND OF GOLD PERFORMANCE!!!
9:55 PM – Awards Ceremony (seniors stay on track to present trophies)
10:15 PM – Load Equipment on Truck and Trailer
10:30 PM – Walk back to LHS, Change Out of Uniforms (LHS auditorium)
10:45 PM – Band is dismissed after uniforms are off and facilities are cleaned (approximate time)
