More information regarding next Saturday’s performance at State Adjudicated Event is found below. To prepare for this important event, band members should be practicing each day to prepare their part to the highest level.
Saturday, April 20, 2024 – OMEA State Adjudicated Event @ Gahanna Lincoln HS Auditorium
Student should eat breakfast before arriving to LHS. We will not have an opportunity to eat during this trip.

Itinerary
7:15 AM – Report Time to LHS Band Room (in concert attire)
7:35 AM – Load Bus
7:45 AM – Depart LHS
8:35 AM – Arrive at GLHS
8:45 AM – Unload Equipment
9:25 AM – Symphonic Band Warm Up
10:00 AM – SYMPHONIC BAND PERFORMANCE!
10:30 AM – Sight Reading
11:10 AM – Load Equipment
11:40 AM – Depart GLHS
12:30 PM – Arrive back to LHS, Unload Equipment (approximate time)
Additional Information
– Friends and family members should be reminded that photography and videos of any kind are strictly prohibited during OMEA performances.
– If students would like to ride home with a parent, a written note or email should be submitted to Mr. Factor by Friday, April 19.
– VERY IMPORTANT – Symphonic Band will perform in the AUDITORIUM at Gahanna. There will be other performances in the gymnasium. If you go to the wrong place, you may miss our performance! Spread the word.
– Doors to the performance area close promptly at the performance time. If you are not seated in time, you will be unable to enter late. Be sure to plan extra time to park and find the auditorium.
