Band Supporters:
October is a big month for our Band of Gold and our Band Boosters. Two of our biggest fundraisers are coming up very quickly. We ask that all high school and junior high band parents commit to helping in one way or another.
We know how busy our families are and want to thank you in advance for being generous with your time to help our students. Do not delay – please sign up as soon as you can to help with our planning.
Here are a few ways you can help make our events a success:
- Sponsor an invitational trophy. Many trophies are available for sponsorship. This shows your support for our band program and helps to offset the cost of trophies. Details are in the link above.
- Work a shift at the Fair Booth (October 5-11). As a volunteer you can donate your time by serving food and drinks. Shifts are flexible if you cannot work a full shift.
- Donate baked goods for the Fair Booth (October 5-10). We would love to have any pies, cakes, cookies or other goods that you would like to bake. If you are not a baker feel free to donate store bought items.
- Volunteer your time at the Invitational (October 18). The invitational requires dozens of volunteers to be successful. There are tasks for all interests and abilities.
