About
Noah Brown is a music educator based in central Ohio. Noah earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree from The Ohio State University in 2025. Currently, Noah is the Associate Band Director at Lancaster High School in Ohio. He has previously served as the band director at Norton High School, as well as in instructional roles at Fishers and Westerville Central High Schools.
During his time at Ohio State, he primarily studied jazz saxophone with Dr. Robert Brooks as well as Dr. Shawn Wallace, and classical saxophone with Dr. Michael Torres. Noah played in the Jazz Ensemble and several jazz combos, including the premier of the Video Game Soundtrack Combo at OSU. He also directed the Jazz Club Big Band, a low-commitment community band. Noah has had the pleasure of performing with artists such as Derek Brown, Dan Wilson, and Kellin Hanas.
Noah has marched DCI with the Guardians (2019), Music City Drum Corps (2021-2023), and the world champion Bluecoats (2024). He spent 4 seasons with WGI Independent World finalist Matrix (2022-2025) as a member and is currently on their instructional staff. He has also previously taught at Rogues Hollow Regiment and the Music City Drum Corps.
Outside of teaching, Noah enjoys going to jams, biking, and strategy games.
