ABOUT

Mrs. Mallory Casserly is an alumni of Lancaster City Schools and the Lancaster band program. She was a member of the Band of Gold, Percussion Ensemble, and Concert Bands. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music education from Ohio University where she studied percussion under Roger Braun. She was a principal percussionist in the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Orchestra, Symphonic Bands, and Percussion Ensemble where she performed at PASIC (Percussive Arts Society International Convention). 

Mrs. Casserly has served as a percussion director and assistant band director for Vinton County Local Schools and Marietta City Schools, and worked as the band director for Wolf Creek Local Schools. Her students have received many superior and excellent ratings at OMEA contests for both marching band and concert band, including multiple superior marching percussion performances. Her professional affiliations include the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA), Percussive Arts Society (PAS), Women Band Directors International (WBDI), and National Association for Music Education (NAfME). 

She currently serves as the marching percussion director for the Band of Gold. She lives in Lancaster with her husband, Shane, and son, Jack. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, practicing, and arranging music.
