Overview

The 43rd annual Band of Gold Invitational will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023. The event will begin at 5 PM with awards taking place at 9:55 PM.

Tickets

Tickets are available online for $9 each (plus $1 service fee). It is strongly recommend to purchase tickets in advance. Purchase your tickets by clicking here.

Tickets must be presented upon arrival on a smart device. To make entry efficient, please have your tickets ready on your phone upon arrival.

Tickets will also be sold at the gate for $10.

Children 5 and under are free.

Parking

There is no cost to park. Parking is available at Lancaster High School. Spectators will then walk across the bridge to the north end of the stadium.

Adjudicator and handicapped parking can be found by the Maintenance Building off of East Fair Avenue.

Buses will be parked along Arbor Valley Drive.

Equipment vehicles will be parking off of Fair Avenue, near the south entrance of Fulton Field. See map (link below) for parking locations and directions.

Bus Parking
Buses should take Fair Avenue and turn on Arbor Valley Drive. Volunteers will direct your buses to park alongside Arbor Valley Drive on the right hand side of the road.

Band members will then walk a short distance across a foot bridge to your equipment vehicles.

Equipment Parking
Equipment parking will be in the parking lot at 901 E. Fair Avenue.

Check-In
Directors can check-in at the foot bridge near bus parking. We will have your packet for you upon arrival.

Band Guides
Each band will have two band guides to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Instrument Repair
A repair technician from CA House Music will be on-site for any of your instrument repair needs. He will be located near the warm up area.

Warm Up Areas
Due to some construction, we will only be able to provide two warm up areas this year. An additional 15-minute visual warm up can be made available upon request.

Supplied Power
We are an approved site for electricity. There will be an extension cord on the 50 yard line for you to plug into.

Equipment
Motorized vehicles unloading equipment for performance will need to exit the track and turn around in the grass by the scoreboard. Please do not turn around on the track.

Field Entrance and Exit
Band members and equipment will exit and enter through the double gate to the performer’s right.

Video Recording
Videos of your performance will be made for you. A video link will be emailed to the director.

First Aid

There will be medical personnel available near the stadium throughout the day. Look for the first aid sign near the stadium restrooms.
