October 1 is a competition day for the Lancaster Band of Gold. It is also the day of the Central Ohio Walk Like MADD event in Hilliard. Walk Like MADD helps raise both awareness and funds to eliminate drunk driving.
To support this great cause and give back to our community, Lancaster High School band members have started a virtual walking team for all members, their families, and band supporters.

As sister of a drunk driving victim, I am very humbled by this group of young people and their desire to take a stand with me on something I believe in.
