Eat dinner before you arrive. You will also have the chance to eat during third quarter break.

3:45PM – Percussion Warm-Up (On the patio. Set up and ready to play)
3:45PM – Winds and Guard Warm-Up (On the field)
4:15PM – Full Band on the field
5:15PM – Load Equipment, Get on Uniforms
6:00PM – Report to Parade Block for Uniform Inspections
6:30PM – Arrive at Fulton Field

Senior Parents – Please meet Sheryl Johnson at 6:45pm in the South End Zone of Fulton Field to line up.

7:00PM – Pre-Game
7:30PM – Kick-Off
8:30PM – Halftime (approximate time)
9:40PM – Game concludes, Post-Game performance (approximate time)
10:10PM – March back to the band room (approximate time)
10:45PM – Band is dismissed once the band room is clean (approximate time)

Saturday, October 29, 2016 OMEA State Marching Band Finals

10:30AM – Percussion Report Time
11:00AM – Brass/Woodwind Report Time
11:45AM – Full Band on the field
1:15PM – Rehearsal concludes, load equipment
1:30PM – Eat, Get on uniforms
2:25PM – Meet in Auditorium for Announcements
2:35PM – Load Buses
2:45PM – Depart LHS
4:10PM – Arrive at Hilliard Bradley HS
4:55PM – Warm Up
6:00PM – BAND OF GOLD PERFORMANCE!!!
7:00PM – Presentation of Ratings
7:30PM – Load Buses
7:45PM – Depart Hilliard Bradley HS
9:00PM – Arrive at Lancaster HS, unload
9:30PM – Band is dismissed once the band room is clean

Upcoming Events

♪ If the football team wins this Friday, there is a possibility of making the playoffs. The Band of Gold does perform at playoff games; the first potential game being on Friday, November 4.

♪ The Band of Gold’s annual Marching Band Concert will be held on Thursday, November 3 in the High School Auditorium. Rehearsals will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as regularly scheduled.

♪ The Lancaster Veteran’s Day Parade will be on Friday, November 11. Band members will be excused from school that day and will return before the school day concludes. Practices will be Wednesday and Thursday of that week 3-5pm.

♪ The Marching Band Banquet will be held on Tuesday, November 15 in the High School cafeteria.

♪ The Holiday Parade is on Saturday, November 19 with practices on Wednesday and Thursday of that week.
