10:00AM – Arrive at Lexington HS
Bring a sack lunch to eat upon arrival.
10:45AM – Warm Up
11:45AM – BAND OF GOLD PERFORMANCE!
12:45PM – Awards
1:15PM – Depart Lexington HS
3:00PM – Arrive at Dawes Arboretum Shelter House for Picnic
Pizza and drinks will be provided by the Band Boosters.
5:45PM – Depart Dawes Arboretum
6:45PM – Arrive at Maysville HS
7:30PM – Warm Up
8:30PM – BAND OF GOLD PERFORMANCE!
9:00PM – Band members can visit concessions if desired
9:25PM – Awards
10:00PM – Depart Maysville HS (approximate time)
11:15PM – Arrive back to Lancaster HS (approximate time)
11:30PM – Band is dismissed once the band room is cleaned (approximate time)

Upcoming Events
– The annual Sherman-Ewing football game is Wednesday, October 4. If you are able to come and cheer on our Junior High Bands, the students and directors would greatly appreciate it.
– This week’s game is away versus Pickerington Central. Next week’s game is away versus Gahanna Lincoln.
– The Band of Gold will perform at the Fairfield County Fair on Thursday morning, October 12. Our performance time is 11:20am. We will not have afternoon rehearsal that day.
– The Band of Gold will perform at OMEA State Finals on Saturday, October 28 at Hilliard Darby High School. Expect an evening performance time, but you will need to reserve the entire day. (Please note that State Finals has been held at Hilliard Bradley in the past. It is at Hilliard Darby this year.)
