More information regarding Friday’s performance at State Adjudicated Event is found below. To prepare for this important event, band members should be practicing each day to prepare their part to the highest level.

Friday, April 20, 2018 – OMEA State Adjudicated Event @ Gahanna Lincoln HS Gymnasium

6:45 – Meet at LHS Band Room for short rehearsal
7:15 – Load Equipment
7:30 – Load Buses
7:45 – Depart LHS
8:35 – Arrive at GLHS
8:45 – Unload Equipment
9:20 – Symphonic Band Warm Up
10:00 – SYMPHONIC BAND PERFORMANCE!
10:40 – Sight Reading
11:10 – Load Equipment
11:45 – Depart GLHS
12:30 – Arrive back to LHS, Unload Equipment (approximate time)

– Friends and family members should be reminded that photography and videos of any kind are strictly prohibited during OMEA performances.

– If students would like to ride home with a parent, a written note or email should be submitted to Mr. Factor by Thursday, April 19.

– VERY IMPORTANT – Symphonic Band this year will perform in the GYMNASIUM at Gahanna. There will be other performances in the auditorium. If you go to the wrong place, you may miss our performance! Spread the word.

– CONGRATULATIONS in advance to Symphonic Band for earning to opportunity to perform at the State level. This is the the fourth consecutive year LHS has had bands at the state level of adjudication. Please come and support these great musicians!
