Band Parents:
We are very excited to begin discussing next year’s band trip to Disney World. Every few years, the Band of Gold has traveled to Florida where the students have the opportunity to perform at the Magic Kingdom. Next year’s trip will take place December 30, 2019 through January 3, 2020.
All band members who are planning to be part of the 2019-2020 Band of Gold, including current 8th grade band members and potential color guard members, are encouraged to be part of this exciting trip.
There will be an informational meeting for parents on Tuesday, January 29 at 7pm in the LHS Auditorium. At this meeting, we will discuss a tentative trip itinerary, expectations, cost, and fundraising opportunities. We will also distribute information regarding chaperones procedures.
I’m sure there will be many questions in the coming weeks regarding the trip. We expect that this meeting will answer them for you.
