Dear Band Parents:
Last Tuesday was our informational meeting regarding the upcoming Band of Gold trip to Florida. In case you were unable to attend, the information found below should answer most of your questions.
This trip is intended for all 2019-2020 marching band members. This includes current 9th-11th grade marching band members, incoming freshmen, and color guard members (new or returning).
It is our goal that all marching band members are able to participate. Fundraisers will be available to assist with the cost.
If you are a parent or family member who is interested in traveling with the band, we hope to have room available for you. If interested, please email me and indicate if you would to chaperone or not. Once student numbers are secured, we will contact you with availability.
Band members should register online and turn in the trip commitment form this week. If you are unsure about the trip for any reason, please contact me. It is important that we reserve enough seats on the bus for all interested marching band members before opening up the trip to chaperones.
Information about all band fundraisers will be posted to the website. This is our primary method of communication with families. Our next fundraiser will be a popcorn sale, which begins this week. Be sure to come to the band room to pick up an order form and brochure. Profits from this sale will benefit individual student accounts and can be used for Florida trip payments.
