Fair Week

Band Parents and Supporters,

A big THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered for yesterday’s band competition. It was an extremely successful day due to our hard-working team. Your time and effort are much appreciated.

Now that the invitational is over it’s time to think about the Fairfield County Fair. The Band Booster Fair Booth is another one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, but it’s only profitable if we have enough help. We are still in need of quite a few volunteers. This Week:

Rehearsal schedules for Monday and Tuesday are as usual.

Wednesday is a Professional Development day for staff. Students will not be in school. We will continue to have sectionals that afternoon and evening as usual. Wednesday is also the Sherman-Ewing football game at Fulton Field. Several high school band members have volunteered to assist Mr. Smith and Mr. Bode at this event.

Thursday is the Fairfield County Parade of Bands. Band members will be meeting at Mt. Pleasant Elementary at approximately 8:15am. Our performance time at the fair is 10:15am. There will be no rehearsal that evening.

Friday is an away football game at Pickerington Central. Report time will be a little bit earlier than usual, due to not having school that day. More information will be announced early in the week.

There is no contest this Saturday. We hope everyone enjoys their free weekend. Please consider volunteering at the fair if you can!
