Band of Gold Parents:
Friday is looking like a perfect day for our first performance of the 2020 season! The band will put on a short preview concert beginning at 6:00pm in the back of Thomas Ewing Jr. High School. You may park in either parking lot and walk around to the hill behind the school. Be sure to bring a lawn chair and pick a spot where you can watch at a safe distance from other families.
Prior to our performance, a mattress sale representative will be speaking about our upcoming fundraiser on August 15. Since several of our biggest fundraisers may not happen this year, it is important that we spread the word about this important event. We ask that everyone does what you can to help out.
Sarah Carpenter, Band Boosters Fundraising Chair, will be putting in another order for candy bars soon. If you are interesting in getting candy bars to sell, be sure to email or text her. Her contact information can be found on the last page of the newsletter.
Lastly, the practice schedule for the upcoming weeks has been posted to the website. To find it, go to the “Events” link on the band website. As you might expect, both rehearsals and performances may be subject to change. Any adjustments will be emailed out as soon as we are aware. Thanks for your understanding.
