9:30 AM – Band Room Opens
10:30 AM – Full Band Rehearsal (on the practice field)
12:55 PM – Load Equipment (at the practice field)
1:15 PM – Change into Uniforms and Eat Packed Lunch (on your own, but do not leave LHS)
1:50 PM – Meet in Auditorium for Announcements
2:00 PM – Load Buses
2:15 PM – Depart for OSU
3:15 PM – Arrive at OSU, Unload
4:30 PM – Warm Up
5:30 PM – BAND OF GOLD PERFORMANCE TIME!!!
6:30 PM – Load Equipment
7:00 PM – Back to Stadium to Watch Bands
Band members should bring money for concessions for dinner at OSU while watching bands.
9:15 PM – Depart OSU
10:20 PM – Arrive at Lancaster HS (approximate time)
10:30 PM – Band is dismissed once the band room is cleaned (approximate time)
Checklist for Saturday
_____ Black Band Socks (crew length)
_____ Black Band Shoes
_____ Shorts and T-Shirt (with sleeves) to wear underneath uniform
_____ Black Gloves
_____ Instrument and Accessories
_____ Packed Lunch & Money for Concessions
Reminders
– If you would like to ride home with a parent after a game or contest, please be sure to check the following guidelines:
Parents must submit a written request at least 24 hours prior to departure. Notification on the day of the trip cannot be accepted. The student and parent must check out before leaving. There will be an assigned chaperone or staff member near the buses for this purpose.
