Hello Lancaster Band Students and Parents!
My name is Brian Walsh, and I am happy to be student teaching this semester with the great music students of Lancaster at the high school and junior high schools. I am originally from Stow, Ohio, which is in Northeast Ohio near Akron. I’m completing my final semester as a music education student at The Ohio State University. My primary instrument is French Horn, and I also have experience as a trumpet player.
At Ohio State, I performed with the Ohio State Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra, and I also perform with the New Albany Symphony Orchestra. Outside of school, I enjoy spending free time with family and friends, being an avid Cleveland sports fan, and traveling to Disney Parks. I am looking forward to this enriching experience of working with the Lancaster Band program and its student musicians!
