Band Parents:
We are very excited to begin discussing next year’s band trip to Disney World. Every few years, the Band of Gold has traveled to Florida where the students have the opportunity to perform at the Magic Kingdom. Next year’s trip is being planned for December 27 through December 31, 2023.
All band members who are planning to be part of the 2023-2024 Band of Gold, including current 8th grade band members and potential color guard members, are encouraged to be part of this exciting trip.
There will be an informational meeting for parents on Wednesday, March 1 at 7 PM in the LHS Cafeteria. At this meeting, we will discuss a tentative trip itinerary, expectations, cost, and fundraising opportunities. We will also distribute information regarding how to chaperone the trip.
I’m sure there will be many questions in the coming weeks regarding the trip. We expect that this meeting will answer them for you. Be sure to mark your calendars!
