41st Annual Band of Gold Invitational
Saturday, October 23, 2021
All instruments should be loaded on the truck and trailer on Friday evening. The band room will not be open in the morning.
7:00 AM – Warm Up and Full Band Rehearsal (at Fulton Field)
8:00 AM – Move Equipment from the field
If you are not helping, you should be “on call” if a director or adult volunteer needs your help. Section shirts, summer uniform shirts, or warm up jackets must be worn. Between 10:00-11:15AM, all band members may visit the concession stand to receive a complimentary sandwich and drink.
10:00 AM – Contest begins.
11:30 AM – Band members meet in LHS auditorium to get on uniforms
12:15 PM – Meet in Maintenance parking lot for Warm Up
12:35 PM – Warm Up begins
1:15 PM – BAND OF GOLD PERFORMANCE!!!
1:30 PM – Awards Ceremony (seniors report to track)
2:00 PM – Load Equipment on Truck and Trailer
2:15 PM – Walk back to LHS, Change Out of Uniforms (LHS auditorium)
After you are out of your uniform, you are finished for the day! It would be great, however, if you can check back with the volunteers at Fulton Field to see if anything needs cleaned up.

Upcoming Events
– OMEA State Marching Band Finals will be at Hilliard Bradley High School on Saturday, October 30 at 12:45 PM. Expect an early morning report time and an evening arrival back.
– The first football playoff game will be held the night before State Finals on Friday, October 29. The location of the game will determine our participation.
