FOOD PREPARATION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
(FOR THE BAND FAIR BOOTH)
On Saturday, September 24th Gary/Sheryl Johnson and Dean/Debbie Cook will be cooking 210 pounds of hamburger for the chili soup and sloppy joes along with pre-cooking 90 pounds of brats all for the Fairfield County Fair Band Booth.
We need 4-5 volunteers to assist us in this undertaking. Men are encouraged to help as the large cooking trays are very heavy to move from the oven to the counter. Once everything is cooked and sloppy joes mixed together, we bag it and get it to our freezer.
Can you help? We will be at the First United Methodist Church on the corner of Wheeling & High street in the fellowship hall (basement). The volunteers don’t need to arrive until 10:00 am. It does take several hours to complete but with enough help we can cut the time down.
